Different... In A GOOD Way...

The animation to this movie was a style I dont typically see on NG, and I liked that about it. It seemed almost hand drawn, it was that gritty realistic type of style that made the film look like MUCH MORE hard work was put into it than yer run of the mill NG flash film.
The sound was groovy as well. It seemed dark, almost morbid, DEFINITELY a touch of melancholy and darkness. It flowed beautifully with the content and made me enjoy the film overall all the more.
The typical NG movie looks like played out, sophmoric, trendy tripe from "artists" (and I use the term EXTREMELY loosely) that arent old enough to purchase a pack of cigarettes, let alone get into a bar. No offense if yer underage or to anyone underage, Im just trying to say that most NG movies look Young, naive, trendy, cookie cutter and average. Dismal stuff that either looks thrown together or has great animation with a cheesy "been there, done that" type of script.
This movie has NONE of that. It is DIFFERENT. Repetition SUCKS, this is the polar opposite of the run of the mill, dime a dozen flicks on NG. I dont mean to ramble on, but I could compliment the depth of this movie for way more than the few hundred words thatll fit in this review box.
Long story short, I ADORED the dark feel, and I DEFINITELY appreciated the fact that this was NOTHING like the average movies on NG, even the well animated ones thatve been done to death. In other words, Im wowed by the AWESOME job you did on this, and I hope I get the priviledge of passing another submission from you to the portal in the future. You are what NG needs more than anything, A CHANGE from the same old, same old dismal stuff.
Thank you for submitting something new and fresh, you ought to be proud of yerself, because I am, and Im sure Im not the only mature, older user that will feel the same way after coming across this movie. I hope this wins an award, it deserves it for being such a radical change in the usual lineup of "more of the same" that the portal showcases.
Anyways, Good luck, and great movie. I cant wait o see more and I will favorite this and reccomend it to the more intelligent people I am friends with on this site. Congrats and thanks for making a movie that doesnt conform to the business as usual mantra of the site as of late.
