Besides from the girl's speed, not being able to move diagonally and how tricky the 6th star attack can get, it was nice to play. What I'd consider the main flaw, was getting stuck at some points of the game, but I managed to reach the credits myself, phew.
For the same reasons, I don't know if I should recommend it or not, because it IS enjoyable and worth playing.
I like that nostalgic monochrome style and of course, the dialogues from the announcer. I've got plenty of screenshots of wacky moments of this game.
It was a good idea to dig on old games in this site.

By far, the greatest flaw in this game is the controls. The attack system is horrible beyond belief; shots don't hit where you expect, enemies just aren't effected by direct hits half the time. When I fucked up, I didn't feel like it was my fault. That is a Bad Thing.
However, this game is redeemed by the comedy. It's a silly game, which does credit to its quality.
