The series premiere of ORBZ is here! The original version of this video can be viewed on my site (which got a bit messed up so don't get ticked, we're fixing it). View the prologue as well (you don't have to). This was inspired by Madness Combat so expect a Madness-like feeling from it.

I, was going to create a series called ORBZ, but took that name, so I half to use another. :(
Anyways, I only watched the first 30-45 seconds of it because:
the graphics werent the best
lots of tweens were used, and not the good kind
actually not that interesting.
but ill still give a 4/5 8/10 though.

I mean this is a pretty good animation
good story, ok drawings
but voice was too slow and there were really slow
gaps between the words
But good work
ok, ive watched it had a piss and here goes...
right , for a first flash it wasn't that bad but...
YOU'VE GOT A SHED LOAD of things to work on
firstly, up the frame rate, the action was a little too slow pased,
also Frame by frame some areas, as i noticed that the majority of this was tweened, (Even Krinkles when he does his madness series uses frame by frame animation)
next, work on sounds, a lack of music, (not in the opening but during the area where the main action is supposd to be) is a HUGE mistake,
work on your art a little, i mean... there like.. orbs and shit but you gotta put a little bit more effort into them, add some highlights, tweak it a little, add shadows, gun flares and smoke to make it look a million times better ^^
overall, your improving so heres where you score
Graphics - 4/10
improve by adding highlight as stated above (also add some blood!)
Originality - 2/10
its JUST ANOTHER MADNESS CLONE (you did say however you were inspired by madness) and there's not really anything that sets itself apart from the hundreds of other fash movies that are just like it,
Sound - 5/10
working sound effects and music in the opening credits + voice acting (but you GOTTA add some music in the action scenes)
Style - 6/10
Madness (ish) backgrounds and coloured characters
Overall - 6/10
and its a generous 6 out of 10, work on the areas above and the score wil just start climbing
Alright, I'll take some of your advice. But I'd like to point out that it wasn't meant to be a Madness tribute. Thanks for the review, and another thing, laser rifles don't have gun flares. Otherwise, you'd see some in the movie.

it was ok. the plot and the animation are a lil sketchy but im sure more practice will wield better results :D
I'm practicing, yes. I'm trying to make sure I do MUCH better next time around. Believe me when I say it's MUCH better than the original version.
I dunno what to say.
I really didnt understand anything, but i'll give you a 3 for making a decent flash.
