Thanks for playing Monsters. This is the latest demo version of the game, with all 70 Levels and functional level creator! All 70 Levels are included in the demo, though to progress, you must earn each next level by beating the previous one.

I am now putting the Full Version up for free to download from the game's website, http://www.playmonsters.c om

The Full Version contains over 70 levels, saved progress, and a complete savable level-editor that allow creation of custom monsters.

I worked on this game for fun for a couple years when I was about 12, and am now putting the full version up for free.

Monsters is an addicting arcade game in the grand tradition, in a modern form. You dash around levels dodging deadly monsters, while luring them into toxic goo-pits. It is a game of both strategy and skill, and features a variety of both action and maze levels.

Are you still alive? ;-;

This was a pretty mediocre game. I do think the graphics could have been better. I admit that it is a fairly original idea. Then again, it does vaguely remind me of "Pac-Man". I like how you can get the big picture. Unfortunately, it does move a bit slow.

I didn't find this all that addicting. Most people seem to think it's okay too. It was weird how it was hard to get some of the monsters to follow me. You normally wouldn't want that in a game. The sounds were alright.

...

And here I thought the title was Monsters The Game: Full as in Full Version, not as in full of cereal.

If you wanted it fully accessible to everyone, then why did you put levels 3, 4, 8, 16, 21, 41, 50 and yet that is only 1.9 megs? I don't want to download your 16 meg exe file just to get a better look at the game.

And you forgot to add luck as level 50 I was able to get multiple ones caught, slipped up and had to retry, but then there was no way to get even the first one to walk into the pit again. I hate to say it, but if you spent years on this, it could have been devoted to something better...

SuperShnee responds:

All 70 Levels now online. The Stand-alone version is in a different file format, allowing you to save progress, custom levels, generate thumbnails, etc.

Full?

Now I know you said the full version is free elsewhere... so I can understand the demo here. However, why does the demo only have 1 level? Secondly, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Clicking on "instructions" only takes me back to the 'start' screen.

The graphics are so-so, but I can't really give a proper review if I don't know how to play the game. 6/10 Until then. :P Sorry mate.

SuperShnee responds:

Sorry, Instructiosn are working now. There are 70 levels, but you can only progress to the next level after you have beaten the previous level.
