Nibbler

This Snake-variant is more action-oriented than the original, with moving obstacles and speed modifiers sprawled across the levels. I've tried to make all 20 levels as unique as possible, too. I realize Snake games aren't quite original, so I've done my best to make this different - and more challenging - than the rest. Especially the later levels can be quite difficult. If the speed is too fast or slow, you can change it in the options menu.

You can use both the arrow and the 'wasd' keys to control your nibbler. You can pause and continue the game with 'p' or 'space'. You can quit to the main menu with 'escape'. To continue after beating a level, press 'enter'. To toggle the sound, press 'm'.

UPDATE: Uploaded the correct version: you now start in level 1. :)

EDIT: You can't move backwards, as in the original Snake.

easy...

I got bored by the 4th level....Im sure it must get harder but its just taking to long to get there..
the game was slowstarting..although everything else was okay, I didnt encounter the glitches so far but maybe i just didtn play long enough to encounter 'em

Decent

"Pressin left and right to try and stay in the same spot so i can get round the movin walls and my 'nibbler' just carries on movin left."

Many keyboards are unable to handle this, anyways. BUT, if you had read the instructions in the game, you would know you cannot move backwards. Therefore, if you are going left, you can only go up or down as the next move. Then you can go right. If you do it properly, you can move within 4 squares and still wait for a wall to move.

Well, then...

I have to hand it to you, it's a very adept attempt at mixing up the old snake, but I didn't get the thrill of the original game. Your 'snake' 'nibbler' thing doesnt' get any larger, and there's the obvious flaw that others have pointed out that the controls occasionally spaz out. However, I respect anyone with enough patience to make anything this unapparently glitched. That was the only flaw I could find, it may not be interesting or replayable, but it was generally well made.

The keys don't work

Pressin left and right to try and stay in the same spot so i can get round the movin walls and my 'nibbler' just carries on movin left.

Got past the first level on my 4th attempt but then proceeded to get very bored of it.

It's a slightly different ttwist on your average snake game, but really needs some more thought put into it.

ok, but NEED EASYER CONTROLS!

can't get past 1lv, should of made a easyer starting lv, nice sounds when you eat/die lol, could do with a easy, medium, hard settings
