Basically I started making this game and the scripting took bloody ages!!! (and there's still few glitches) This DEMO is only one level long but I want to know if this is rubbish and I shouldn't bother finishing it or it good and I should finish it?
FIX: Sorry about the weird thing when you jump I fixed it now so yey!

Stealing is bad.

You stole Cless from Tales of Phantasia and didn't even give credit.

Stealing = low score.

I mean... Its alright, but...

As you said, it has glitches. I liked it, though. When I fell down into the holes the skull thing fell with me :P so I had to exit out to restart.

It has possibility

you need to be more consistant with the sprites you use, for example, the jumping sprite was completley different. Also, the area around traps, like the barrels and the steam, need to be smaller, i wasn't anywhere near them and i got damaged. But it does have the possibility to be a fun game, good work.

A Good Starting Point

Needs a great deal of polish. I died and the game still told me I completed level 1. Also, I noticed that if you just tap Ctrl, the character doesn't go through all of his sword-swinging animation. Music didn't seem to really fit either, but that's just my personal opinion. Look into these details and you'll have a great game!

Yeh I'm trying to fix that glitch but every time I fix one bit of the script something else breaks! Grrr..
Thanks for the review though

quite good

the graphics are good, even though the style is inconsistant, the sound could be toned down a bit, and the way you are damaged is strange, but if you did a bit more it could be rather good
