Breakthru v1.0

Breakthru is my first Flash game that isnt some sort of physics demo. Its kind of both an action game and a puzzle game at once. It's a pretty simple game: you drive a tank, you can move on your color tiles only, you can change tiles to your color by shooting them, and the goal is to hit the opposing tank. Oh, and the worms... but you'll find out about them! Everything contained in this game was conceived and made by me (graphics, code, user interface, the whole smash). Just thought Id put that out there. enjoy!

By the way, Im 13, just in case anyone was wondering.

not bad, not great

its not great too easy i always won b4 the worm did much changing but kept me entertained for a good 20 min

random

whit choosing a random colour he always choose red

Good

Good game, good idea, but not great. Its too easy, it needs more levels, or maybe a map editor. More importantly, it needs a difficulty setting.

Not bad

Aside from the lack of sound, there were a couple things I noticed.
One was that the game tends to lag.
Some solutions for this could be:
1. Raise the frame rate (I recommend 30 fps for games)
2. Use less gradient fills
3. Use less complex graphics (for explosions, etc.)
4. Cache some graphics as bitmaps using .cacheAsBitmap=true
Just some ideas. Try them out and see what you can come up with.
As for the concept of your game, I liked it. It was very creative. Good work!

Thanks for your help. This was probably the most useful comment on the whole thing.
