My submission for the rockout contest...

Do you have what it takes to navigate the perilous arrays of notes and reach the menacing Trouble Clef waiting at the end of the level?
Surf's Up in a brand new way in this simple, yet challenging avoider game that locks you in a musical realm filled with danger on every beat.

The notes are only one great facet of the game. Make sure you play till you can outlast the boss at the end of the level.

Nice one

So this here was a nice Rick out game style some very good quality on the music on this one I really like the style here and this one really does good a nice quality of the music so this was one of the better rock out vids

~X~

It took a while before I found the Play button in this! Well, there was no play button so maybe that's not so strange. :P I tried clicking the logo first, but nothing happened, then I realized there was a Credits section with a bad hit area... then when I found Play I realized I needed to click Play rather than the area that made the button pop up. :P Once the game starts it's all simple fun though. The background, gameplay, notes, etc look good, but the bar could've been a bit more graphical. Nice idea though. Keep it up!

nice one

that was a pretty nice Rock Out game. this one here was a little easy overall, but it did have some of the better audio that i've heard throughout the entire contest, cool graphics and gameplay and it was fun to play despite its simplicity

AWESOME

This was one of the best graphically designed games ever!! It keeps you interested because you want to make it to the end to defeat the Trouble Clef. The Clef was my favorite part of the whole game! It must have taken quite an imagination to come up with that character. At first I didn't realize that the yellow notes took away more life points, but after I did, I managed to work out a strategy in order to make it to the end. The music was also well corresponded to the speed of the notes. Although the notes move quickly, it adds difficulty. This could become an awesome potiential full-fledged game!! GREAT JOB!! I'd like to see more creative games in the future!

A fun game with excellent graphics, builds skill.

I liked this game a lot. I think the graphics were really nice and the notes were all synch'ed to the music. The yellow notes made it extra tricky. It's tough at first, but as you get the hang of it you can really progress far. You start humming the tune in your head and responding to what you hear. I also like the transition to the end guy, you don't expect all his various movements. I especially liked his face once he died. Great job, I'd really like to see this expanded to additional levels.
