Object Oriented AS

A brief tutorial on using objects to code in Actionscript. Some knowledge of the Flash interface probably required... this is my first, so I am not too sure how well I covered the real basics. Let me know what you like/don't-like (as if I had to remind you). I'm thinking about making more in the future on a variety of subjects like this.

You have no idea how much easier one of my games has got thx to this. Great tutorial.

Nice tutorial

Nice... I liked the nuke button... And the content was good, object oriented programing of any kind is useful to know...

The best tutorial I've seen

...really. Entartaining and engaging. No b.s. either.

Thanks, really. The subject matter may not be the most popular (I'm a big advocate, but I know a lot of people probably think its not worth the trouble learning), but I certanly tried to make up for it with the interface, options, and presentation, and it sounds like I did a pretty good job.

freakin awesome

great job! most people hav tried to make a tutorial, but this one was fun and entertaing. the nuke button was fun as hell, lets see how many can see the wholetutorial while dodging it, lol. i would have appreciated some music, but the nuke makes up for it. really well laid out, liked the notes option, and the bar at the top that showed you how far you were through was a nice little bonus.

smokinjoeevil responds:

It's great to hear that the effort wasn't in vain, and that people generally had a good time going through it. Thanks for the feedback.

Loved it!

Wow, when I find enough time to learn all that script I will.
Very nicely laid out tutorial, easy to read and understand and some good concepts brought out.
Pity I spent most of my time trying to dodge the nuke for as long as I could =D

smokinjoeevil responds:

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the content was a bit more than most wanted to read through or not... so I tried to make sure I added a few things to make it interesting. Thanks for the review!
