For my graphics GCSE (15-16 year old exams), I had a choice to make a Animation, but it had to be about Recycling, I did nearly all of it in 3D and the .FLA file was over 100mb by the end. This is the first time I have attempted to use 3D, also I taught myself 3D art, my teacher knows nothing about 3D. I think this is the first GCSE animation that was mostly done, if done at all, in 3D. ==I HAD 10 HOURS TO ANIMATE THIS==

Good Potential

Hey, 3D+Flash GCSE projects ftw! I never posted my GCSE project on NG, mainly cos of filesize, but it makes a much better impression on the mods than print.

If you modelled all that stuff from scratch then that's pretty good. I have to say though, I'd like to see some more experimental stuff from you. If you're given Recycling as a stimulus, it's ok to do like a PSA type thing like this, but personally I'd like to see something a little more abstract. GD is about getting a message across, but it can be a little less blunt than this.

Anyway, don't worry this'll get you good marks as long as you have good coursework to back it up. Basically just reverse engineer the whole thing and show it step by step :P

Good luck with future projects.

Thanks,
I did model this from complete scratch and the Moderator has seen the proof, also I put my CW on a cd and its loads n that, took me 4 days to program it, lol.

A bit shallow and predictable...

Kick-ass models for something made in 10 hours...

Much of the animation though was kinda predictable from a narrative point of view. Understandable considering the reason for its creation and the time limit I suppose...

I was hoping for something that made a message, something with food for thought. Not this.

You've got skills - now apply them to a more entertaining animation mebbe?

alio-big-mac responds:

ok, this was for my GCSE, and it was suppose to be something you would see in like a community centre, it was not supose to be funny or unpredictable

OKAY

was okay need improvement nice surprise at the end. next time make it longer and add some more sound fx.

alio-big-mac responds:

I really wanted to, but:
1, I only had 10 hours to animate it
2, the FLA was over 100mb

Not Much to Say

Not alot to say about this flash, but, it was Ok.
