So many years later I'm really not sure of the ending. I remember scrambling to get this all together in a week as a school project. It was a quick way to finish it off!
I may revisit the basic storyline one day. Might be something there if done properly.
I would change the last order given to the Companion Protocol Lifeform.. stun not kill.

A little long but in the end, well worth watching.
I can't believe what the previous reviews were saying about the animation being so bad, the animation isn't even all that important, i mean sure, it definitely helps in making the short more enjoyable to watch...but animation and sound are pretty much both 50/50 in terms of contributing to the "aesthetic aspect" of the viewing experience...and your sound definitely gets all 50...despite the "annoying" beeps. Some people even choose to have "bad" animation, to complement thier style, and here it's fairly appropriate.
I give your graphics and style an 8 because it doesn't matter that your animation is a bit crude, it's consistent throughout the short and fits well with the "speech generator" voices and "midi" sounding music. Also, its incredibly hilarious that the story takes place soo far in the future, but the visuals are so "unadvanced"...haha. Interactivity is a 10 cause i like being able to skip through the text intro portion...i read it the first time, but only needed to read it once...so i'm glad i could skip ahead when i came back to watch it again. plus it's obvious its a movie and not a game, so interactivity is pretty much not applicable....i gave your humor a six, and that's a pretty high score on my scale...i could laugh at your style of animation and the jackson reference...but you got most of your humor points at the end from the bloody masacre. Overall i gave your animation an 8 simply because the "puchline" of an ending was what made the thing an enjoyable experience. Even though you mentioned the robots were designed to kill all the ppl of old earth in the intro, by the time I got to the end of the animation I had forgotten that, and it was hilarious to see the guy get ripped to pieces so quickly.
I give you props for making such an extensive project in such a short itme, and also for publishing your work so quickly...it takes me forever to get my stuff up. In the end, there should be more violence. death is funny. heh, goood job man.

The old "me" was DARK!! the New "me" is better ^^^but Awesome movie, Humor is the best, but i know that Intro is long, but ALL there watch this movie... Watch the INTRO ! it makes what this movie means... And make a Number 2!!

Intriguing story! I'm looking forward to Part 2. I like how you thought about what everyday life might be like in the future. (m-mail, google, "life" for sale etc.) I think that more music would help with the watchability. Keep up the good work!
I couldn't finish watching it....
It was too slow and sketchy to watch. and that noise the robot was making when it was on the tale Arrrggghhh!
