Not a bad movie.

The movie was shot decently and overall wasn't bad, but personally, I had a few problems with it: first of all, your opening/closing music is extremely overused, so I'd advise you to find another piece of similar mood. Second of all, the violence wasn't particularly believable... generally a father/daughter abusive relationship wouldn't necessarily be limited to slaps in the face; harder blows would probably be both more impulsive and more effective, although granted softer blows wouldn't leave marks or bruises that would resurface later in the film.

The last major problem I found with it is it isn't really that much of a Flash animation. As you're aware, it's a video compressed and imported into Flash. Thus most of the work done was in filming the movie, not animating or scripting it. YouTube would probably be a more appropriate venue for short films of this type.

Secondly, when you make a movie, take into consideration setting and objects. A bottle rolling has little effect, unless it's smashed, dirty, open. It just has to LOOK bad. Everything you show here is nice and pretty, down to the clothes and car... You can indeed pull off a rich looking dirty scene, but everything can't just be spotless like that.

I didn't take like that lighting either indoors. It just looked like you didn't whitebalance.

Not the right format

Although I liked the concept & it actually didn't look bad.
It's not flash.
there's no animation, stop action, anything that is the back bone of Newgrounds.
So even though it's a piece thats ok it has been submitted to the flash portal & because its a film with real people about a real problem , this isn't where it should be shown.
That is the only reason I didn't give you a pass.

Excuse me, but where's the flash animation? It has no flash graphics.
There's also some problem with the audio sync.

Anyway, I like the message and the style of the movie, so I gave you a protection point. Good work!
