Cool, kinda like tempest!
Rushed it to meet a deadline...
Some good points and bad points about this game...
+: Unique style of defense gameplay.
+: Simple controls.
+: Decent graphics.
+: Decent music.
-: No sfx.
-: Not much replay value.
-: Too difficult... / Too easy... (Not sure how that works...).
-: Might not run at the desired framerate (For people with old computers... like me...).
Music: Kyle Manoza (K-Dm) - Red Alert

That was good
It is a promising game, just try to make it more progressive in difficulty next time.
alright one
that was a cool game... though this one was very easy and it got boring and repetitive after a short while. i think that this one needed more difficult and challenging levels to it.
...
Decent Game, Too repeditive though =(
Deadlines were meant to be broken
There's a wonderful quote from a wonderful author.
"I love deadlines. I especially love the wooshing sound they make when they go flying by." - Douglas Adams
Don't let time critical events and other things get in the way of producing quality work. Don't let bosses and higher-ups tell you that you need to submit something below standards just because they need to get it out. It may cost you some brownie points with the guys who employ you, but NEVER let your standards be comprimised. This game shows that you committed a personal foul.
This game combines an old classic (circular space invaders) with a new classic (defense). All the elements are there: ship control, stat boosts, I prefer the pause between levels but some like it fast-paced like how you have it.
The problem? Deadlines. Deadlines mean no time for fine-tuning. Fine tuning is what makes or breaks a game. Fine tuning like being able to gain some decent powerups before you become overloaded with mines. Fine tuning like ship speed and game difficulty. Maybe I just suck, but I couldn't get past level 5. The ship didn't move fast enough or fire fast enough to handle the flux of enemies. Little things like that, the subtle details that appeal to everyone, be they inexperienced gamers or people who actively search for them.
This game can be made much better. Don't let it get pushed ahead of your standards; take it back and turn it into the gem that it can be.
