I made this school project when I was in 10th grade. A lot of time has elapsed since then, but I think it is still good as teaching material or if you are just curious about the Soviet Union. Enjoy!

good work!

although it had some grammatical mistakes, it was fairly truth telling and unbiased. Good work!

Could have had some more details.

good one

a little short, but that was a very nice animation... and you stuck to actual facts and didn't bend the truth, so that made this one all the more enjoyable. the graphics were nice, good audio and it was fun to watch. i also notice that this one here was for an old school project... hope you got a good grade.... otherwise, you should go an protest to your old teacher.

I feel smarter already!

it was a bit bland, but so were social studies classes. good study material. elg2

i was lied to

i was told this was BRIEF history of the soviet union. you shouldn't lie so unashamedly.
but seriously it was a wonderful learning experience and i most enjoyed the banjo playing.
mostly

Looks great, but serious design bugs...

...just like the USSR itself.

Looks great, but it's an awful lot of stuff to read in one sitting, especially for a flash video.

Also, a big glinch: on the menu, every time I tried to click on the link to take me to the Brezhnev or Gorbachev years, it'd kick me back out to the start screen with Lenin playing his banjo. I had to go through Kruschev's entries to reach the other stuff, and while the "Baby Elephant Dance" was a nice retro theme... it grates on the second or third loop.

Not bad overall, though... do an update, fix the mistakes, and you'll have yourself an A+ flash!
