Interesting, but the thing is that once you started trying to do 3d fx on a 2d plane that didn't even have a floor, it started looking kinda stupid. The random lone dialog box was pointless and just interrupted the action, and when you had more than say three sprites on the screen at once it got choppy in parts while you focused on some characters and not others. Add these to the fact that when you zoomed out the background didn't change, and to me it was entertaining but just not polished enough.
