We often take natural law for granted, that atoms combine to create molecules simply because that's how they behave, but how is it that they come to behave that way? Is human behavior an extension of the same force that causes natural law? Are we somehow independent from the rest of the universe? Does choice happen at the level that we perceive it, or at the level on which physical law enacts itself?

What, in essence, is the motivating force behind human action?

Herein we attempt to uncover the secrets of human nature and perception.

I can gather, from this profound insight...

...that you are proud of your work, for it was made by your own hand and not someone else. I can see how you would be proud, too, for the underlying meaning and subtext is clear. You, sir, are a genius of modern philosophical film making. I am enlightened. {{{}}}

Great thought

As with the review before me, i agree that the beginning was excellent but the last part was ... not so.

For me it probably would have been bearable if only your sounds had lined up with the images in the philosophical discussion.

Again, great idea - but you should have gone with the style of the first bit for the discussion and recorded real voices instead of relying on the CC stereotypical bs or at least went and edited the voices with Audacity or something.

Good idea, i even voted to save it, but work on the execution.

Thanks for making an effort to stray from the typical boundaries of your comrades.

D!

Several people suggested recorded voices, but it was more fun to just copy Republic into speakonia without correcting any of my typos. The purpose of the movie is to demonstrate

Not doin' it for me

I liked the philosophical premise, but it hyped me up for what I deemed to be a sub-par flash. I suggest going back to the drawing board and spending a little more time smoothing out your drawing and animations. Good premise, though. It just didn't do it for me, as-is.

AlbinoClock responds:

I have only marginal control over my actions, I give this movie as proof.
