A new twist with major improvements

Hey Gary,

Definitely a good choice of purchasing a tablet. I really liked this new piece although it shows great improvement you still have not lost your rather random nature. For a second there I thought you had given up on flash.

I felt your strengths were in lip syncs and fluid animation such as the flying birds. The walk cycle looked rather strange and bizarre. I like how dismal your character seemed and the lottery at the end was good for a laugh.

For now, I am student teaching and hopefully certified by May. I hope to see more original work from the masterful mind of Custard Cartoons. Keep in touch!

that was a pretty cool animation. a bit short, but i liked the plot to this one, good graphics, cool character, nice entertainment and amusement and your efforts were nice.... oh yes, and nice "extra" at the end, it was cool too.

You have a good grasp on cinematic flow - it kept me going, wasn't too slow or too fast - each scene worked well with the next and there weren't any big unpleasant surprises.

Now:
He walks funny... with his arms behind him. haha.

Arms arms arms - maybe you should have frame-by-frame animated them next time - sure, that may be another week of work for you, but it's worth it in the end to put out a superior flash!

Christine looks very... dead... and rugged... haha

Loved the characters - the voice acting was pretty good - recording quality wasn't the best, but not many people can get a recording in their homes.

The chair! haha - totally disappeared on his ass.

Tip for the wacom - alot of times it's hard to draw a straight line. yep. I know. Well, i use the line tool for those times, and if it just looks like it doesn't flow with the rest BECAUSE it's so straight i'll go over the line with the brush tool.

Oh, and a question - do you get random little blobs when you're using the brush tool with pressure sensitivity?? I get those alot and they're a pain in my ass - still haven't figured out how to fix them.
