Thanks to everyone for their comments and feedback - we'll definitely be incorporating most ideas in the next version of this game e.g. retreat options, moving around objects, no suicidal generals etc.

Make sure you have an updated version of flash on your computer. You'll need a pretty fast computer for this game - if it seems to be running slow, set image quality to low.

Set in ancient China, command an army and pacify the lands for your Emperor.

Background

It is the Qin dynasty in ancient China.

The First Emperor Qin demands that all lands be pacified and be brought under his dominion. He has plans to build the Great Wall of China to protect his lands from the barbarians to the north.

This is expensive business, so it is up to you to accumulate as much gold as possible in each of your war campaigns.

If you accumulate less than 5000 gold pieces in any given mission, the Emperor will be displeased and will take 250 gold pieces from your war fund as a punishment for your poor service. Any gold above 5000 gold pieces will be used by the Emperor towards building the Great Wall.

Controls

Mouse point and click to select your units. You can select more than one unit using CTRL + click or by drawing a box around the units.

When a unit(s) is selected click where you want it to go. Make sure no objects are blocking them.

If you have a specific route you want a unit(s) to follow, draw a path (CTRL + click + drag) you want it to go. The unit will move in a straight line to the starting point of your path and then follow it.

Arrow keys to scroll around the map.

I was quite impressed by this game. I think the best part of it was probably how fun it was just to see those guys move. They really were quite fast. I didn't even need to turn the speed up that much. It was nice to have such a wide open space. Then again, that did make it harder to reach your target.

Some of the controls seemed off, but they mostly worked well. I like just seeing them fight. It has the feel of a standard defense game, but is still different. The title could be a tad less generic, though. Ah, I'm just being nitpicky.

If you're going to make it that loud, at least provide a mute button FFS!!

I really love this game and I keep playing but it gets on my nerves when the soldiers are to dumb to see hat theres a wall in front of them and wont move out of the way so they can go where I told them to. but anyway great game I really love it and im wondering if you might make a sequal?

Unique

Played this game years ago and now there are still very few flash based RTS games so this deserves credit for pushing the frontier!
