My first submitted flash cartoon. It's a little piece of Valentine's Day satire. The animation isn't amazingly advanced (it isn't meant to be), and it's not particularly subtle, but it's from the heart ;-)

The animation wasn't meant to be top of the range (as stated in the original commentary), and the start was also meant to be sort of "boring" as part of the satirical value - i.e. it was supposed to be cheesy and lame.
But fair enough if you didn't like it.

Pretty funny! Loved the satire. So true! We spend SO MUCH on our loved ones..Me and my girlfriend just broke up so saves me the time and the $Money$!!

The only thing you might want to tweak is leave those messages there just a second longer. They made the whole piece. Great work!!!!

Yeah, I was considering that. At first I was planning to leave them for less time, to make them seem more "accidental". Then I left them for longer so they were a bit easier to see. I may put a pause button in it or something and submit it again, if that's easy enough to do.
