True Crime : limerick

This is a movie I made for a project at college were we had to
visually express our emotions towards the city. Most of you won't know but limerick is the "arsehole" of Ireland and is known as "stabcity". In the media's eyes Limerick can match up to Mexico City. It's all just how you hold the camera. Have a look, it's flashy and my first movie.

A few minutes wasted.... but I'm not complaining.

I feel like I just wasted a few minutes of my life I can never relive, yet I was entertained all the same. I like the intro style with the old film feel to it (would have been better if you could have edited out the camera time and date). It was mildly fascinating with the soft music. The sudden loudness suprised me and broke me out of a mild reverie that I was lulled into, and definitely caught my attention. Now if you could only make an animation to broaden the idea of this fake game it would be awesome.

...?

didnt really show much treu crime gameplay, so kinda pointless

Not bad

I liked it... only thing I can say to improve on this is some smother animation, and maybe a bit clearer content. My comp may just be lagging but for about 20 seconds in I think the music cuts in and out, although that may have also been your intention.

Oh and I've heard of limerick... isn't it that town in Ireland where they greased those 2 faggots last week over the new "Gay Rights" laws protests? With these leftist-lawyer devils allowing minorities and satan-worshiping faggots to walk the streets, no wonder there's murder and drugs.

Fascinating.

This was a well-done, if not stark, movie. I liked the way you began, with the gentle Yann Tiersen music and quaint sepia photographs; it was like looking at a travel documentary of old England. Then you kicked in with the hard rock and brash images, showing how something that looks so beautiful can hide a disgusting underbelly. Pretty good. It was very cynical and revealing. Many people who have never left their hometowns have romantic notions of what other countries should be like, and hopefully this will show that the whole world is sadly the same: violent, oppressing, and cold. Very stark as I said. Oh, consider adding a replay button next time.

Really liked it

As i'm from Ireland I know all about limerick, and you really captured what the city's like, nice use of music to convey different emotions, and the images were put together pretty well too, nice job
