Very good
Hey, not bad. infact I liked it. As the last person said, it needs to be longer. Still very good. All 5 of mine go to u!
Thanks to everyone who helped my animation to pass the portal judgement.
The preloader is working now and some minor glitches have been fixed.
This was my very first time to do and submit something at least a bit serious, but it worked out pretty well, better than I had expected. Anyway, Simeon: Pieces is not a preview, trailer, or a demo, it's a bunch of scenes that I made to see if I could even think of becoming a Flash artist. It's also a modest introduction of the main character, Simeon.
Reviews are appreciated, constructive reviews are very much appreciated, and neither will be ignored.
Special thanks to DjTeChniQue for doing music perfectly fitting for this little animation.

I appreciate the positive feedback. Thanks, buddy.
The second part will have all sorts of improvements and is twice as long.
nice
You did a great job.
nice and simple, would like to see a longer version of this type of work.
definitely needs a loading screen and a play button, i didnt know when the movie was going to start or if it was even loading.
awesome job other than that though, looking forward to more of the same, hopefully longer!
Thank you, thank you, kind sir.
The animation did and probably still has a preloader, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to even appear, not to mention work. My apologies.
I'll do my best improve, and will definitely create more.
Interesting
I was a little disappointed to discover that Simeon didn't turn out to be a monkey but hey ho, can't win them all. I quite liked the unstructured, lack of plot thing that was going on there, kinda made it a bit more interesting for me, gave the audience to wonder what actually happened, make your own story and what not. I guess that'll probably change if you decide to focus on the story more. For me, the music cut out before the end, and also the tear looked more like spunk, hence the humour rating. Otherwise, good job.
It took me a while to realise what caused you to expect the main character to be a monkey.
Until my skills with Flash have improved to an elite-like level(Less spunk-like tears), this sort of random music videos featuring parts of the story will have to do. I can promise, though, that the next one will be longer, the happenings will be clearer and there will be more characters, too.
The music does really end somewhere around the end of the animation. This wasn't originally meant to happen, but the animation grew bigger than expected. On a side note, the song begins playing a second too soon than in the original version.
Thank you for the nice review.
Good stuff
For your first flash this is pretty good, the music was ok and the graphics were quite well done, as said before it does need a plot, but otherwise a well done flash.
Hope to see more to come.
I take no credit for the music that's played in the background.
Anyway, all that other positive feedback is appreciated.
needs work
It's ok.....
You really need a play button because the song started playing before the film was loaded... and by the 3rd time i heard the song start it's kinda annoying seeing as it restarted at the front of the film.. and then how there's no real ending.... it just looped again
definetly needs a plot... and some work on your characters... but they were ok.
Hope it doesn't get blammed.
Thanks for letting me know that. I see no problems when viewing this myself, but this might be because of different connection speeds.
The characters and the plot have been made a long time ago and are improved daily. This little animation isn't even a percent of what I have in mind.
And thanks for the fair rating, too.
