Your Pal, Global Warming

Just in case it isn't obvious already, I believe that climate change is man-made occurance and that we need to become more environmentally aware if this planet is to remain sustainable. Scary, no?

I wanted to make a film about climate change for a while now, but wasn't sure how to go about it. Eventually, I thought an animated propaganda film would be fun. And because I'm such an artistic leech, here are the folks who've inspired various elements of this animation: Steve Purcell, D. C. Simpson, Jon M. Jennings, John K, Toondra, Jhonen Vasquez and probably a few more that I can't recall. Enjoy, and hopefully be motivated to do something afterwards.

good work

Great animations!! I don't like the story though... you should have put something that says you disagree with how they go about global warming at the end of it or something, but other than that it was very good! What's sad though is that some people would actually agree with what they say in this submission. >:0

Wow um wow

Did you know just one volcanic eruption spews out more carbon than the entire existance of the human race? Did you also know that at least one volcano is in some stage of eruption every day? This propaganda wasn't about the environment but rather, anti-capitalism. Did you also know that one of the largest glaciers in North America melted prior to human existance? We call them the great lakes. This winter is also one of the coldest the midwest has seen in decades. Yep the Earth is getting hotter all right. So, since we already established that this was really anti-capitalism I just have one question. What do you have against socialized life? Reverse propaganda is still propaganda the message is a lie. Your animation was just ok but, the message this sends is a lie.

patronise responds:

Wait, sorry? I'm a little confused as to where you stand on the issue here. You say that the video was not true - which is correct. It deliberately and blatantly lies about the supposed non-existance of climate change. But then you insult Al Gore, who is well known for his efforts to raise awareness about the effects of climate change. It seems to me that you're contradicting yourself and I'm a little confused. I'm not sure if Newground allows you to reply to these comments, but feel free to add another review or email me at patronise AT gmail DOT COM - because I'm curious about what you mean.
