as far as a background goes, I really didn't want to mess with it, due the the odd simplicity of the charecters being used.
any backgrounds we used either seemed too distracting, or waay to simple.
I'm okay with mediocre on this submission, it would be horrible if i tried to fix some of these problems.

Some excellent potential.
The character development was fairly good, and I liked the well-drawn opponents before the fight scene. The music in the beginning covered up the dialog too much, though.
Also, it could definitely benefit from a background. The white screen and poor sound quality made me want to blam it at first. I'm glad you turned it around with your character's emotions, jokes, and detailed profiles. I would hate to see this kind of potential go to waste. 3/5 keep going! :)
Its a bit unpolished in the end.
And the beginning and middle parts also. You see as great as the jokes may be, nothing gets across when you can't hear anything the characters are saying over stupid loop music. Lower the volume and get a better microphone. The graphics and expressions were very well done however and this movie shows a lot of potential of some bugs are worked out.
