not bad one
it was an alright game. the graphics were okay in this one despite being sticks, but the game itself was very very easy. it was still alright to play, but i think a bigger challenge or a difficulty setting would've suited it better.
I decided to start working on this when I played the Suikoden IV game with the duels.
I was inspired to make a flash version but as I made it I changed the style and here it is.
It's a beta version and I will improve on it if it recieves some good feedback.
I am also making a non-christmas related version for a main release...this one is more of a novelty lol.
Anyway hope you enjoy!
UPDATE:
Thanks for the feedback!
From the reviews I've decided to make the "Real" version more of an rpg style game.
Will try to have a freeroam aspect with random battles...if it goes well then you should hear from it at sometime lol.

I see what you mean by "novelty"
This game as it stands is a bit on the dry side, though it is appropriate for the season.
Overall it's a decent concept, though even done well this engine has its limitations.
This is good enough to survive the holiday, but the final version will hopefully have more combat options, and possibly more than just individual fights against the same AI player. If this is given a facelift and more than one enemy, it could be good. Make it into more than just spontaneous fights, and it could be much better.
Good luck with the final version!
Not terrible
Definitely nothing spectacular though. Waaaaay too easy, and no variety with only 1 oppnent and 2 ways to attack.
Gave it a 2 :)
Keep at it!
(( PS - use the special attack over and over until your mana runs dry, then just normal attack until evil santa dies. Never fails ^_^ ))
Not bad
It was fairly fun, although it said round 21 after the first victory.
It could have used more varieties of offence, but otherwise quite good, maybe a few more opponents, though.
That's because the round is based on the number of moves in the battle itself.
