nice for first game

nice concept

i liked the original concept. however you need to improve quite lot of things to make it fun to play.

first, the frame rate was pretty low which made the game kinda kinda slowy.

actionscript needs improvement, lots of little things that made it look like a beta version.

graphics where ok, but they needed more detail
animation were too simple

but after all, nice little game which wasnt just copy of a game that has been done many times before.

Gotta love those platformers...

This is great! the game runs really smooth and you must have thought really hard about this. the fish as your health was a fabulous idea, and I could not find anything wrong with your actionscripting. Simply do more of these games and you will be an NG great ;)

you stopped short.

i think i know what you where thinking when you made this. you got it to work the way it was supposed to and you kinda stopped there. when you want to make a good game what you need to do is reach beyond that point once you get the FS down begin working on quality ofr animation it had a lack of detail that would have added quality to the game. and the FPS was waaayy to high the game runs slow. it looses fun factor when you have to wait for 5 seconds for the character your controlling to fall from a height. you have the idea just follow through with it don't settle for "it works" strive for it looks good it plays and plays smooth.

This is very tedious.

The intro was shit, and the gameplay gets very tedious and boring. And the loop in the background is annoying, perhaps you should include some Christmas music or something.
