You put this up? ^_^
Loved watching this in class, and it's cool that you up it here.
I know all about the issues in the video (i made it after all), such as it being short, and needs more polish, but I made this animation as a school project, and this is the what I ended up with. Im not expecting to become a god (which would be hawt), but ENJOY THE VIDEO anyways!!

That was pretty good.
But it could use a little audio other than the music, as IceDragon64. But still. That was a nice tribute to the classic puzzle game. Liked the music, and the use of a seekbar. But if the movie stops in the middle (not done loading, pause button clicked) the counter keeps counting (the timer).
All in all, nice effort.
OK short
I don't think its too short, its a Short, thats all. You could make it longer, with more things happening inside and it would be worth more if you did, but its OK as a short.
Its a familiar theme on NG- there are lots of Tetris experiences and a few 'interaction with the computer' stories, but this one is OK.
It would have been better with backgrounds in the closeups- the boy is against a black background inside the computer but a white bgd in closeup- so its a little confusing.
Obviously it could have sounds in addition to the Tetris music, but its all OK.
Not too shabby
My only problem is that it was too short, the music track was awesome, the animation idea is fuckin sweet, only could have been netter if it was longer... this is going under my favorites though - I fucking love tetris.
Here we go...
Dude... there is no good reason as to why this vid has to be more than a couple of meg in size.
My guess it that there is no audio compress, yes?
Well, that problem is easy to overcome ^_^ Flash does it automatically. All you have to do it set the parameters.
Simply open the project, goto File> Publish settings and check the Flash tab. Goto the tab and set the 'audio stream' option to mp3 56k.
That ought to keep it nice and crisp while dramatically reducing the file size.
Oh, and get yourself a preloader!
These things will go a very long way to improve an otherwise excellent little movie.
