Ashes Bashes!

With England faltering in the first test, and failing to capitalise in the second, Flintoff and his team need your help. Soften up the Aussies, and aid the English cricketers in their bid to return the ashes back home. Remember this is just a bit of fun, in no way do we condone the random bashing of Australians!!

^^Good Points^^
The name of this game originally caught my attention, so good job on that. The game is a pretty fun twist on Whack a mole. You had a decent storyline, and good pictures for this. The game was functional and pretty fun to play.

^^Needs Improving^^
The game is too simplistic to me. It is just a short round that you can play over and over again. There is no high-score list or any levels or increase in difficulty over time, which is something every flash game needs.

Good for a few minutes

As a Brit and an avid England cricket fan it certainly felt good to clobber Warney, but after a play or two this becomes dull very fast and is a very one dimensional game.

The graphics are excellent and more than good enough for a flash of this type, and the style of the game is very good as well. A great choice of music, although for a cricket game it is pretty much the only choice, and the synching of the sounds with the hits is very well done.

Violence gets an average score as you don't get to beat the Aussies into a bloody pulp, but I guess you can't have everything (and after Englands capitulation last night I'm angrier at Fletcher than the Aussies anyway). Interactivity is good as it is an easy to pick up and play game with simple controls and an obvious objective, and there is a small amount of comedy value.

On the whole it works well for what it is, but can't be a great game with the limited amount difficulty and variation in the game. Maybe have an ability to change the time limit, and also make a few other things pop up to add to the difficulty level. Including this in a compilation of other cricket based games would also add to the longevity and replayability, but as a stand alone game it just doesn't have enough going for it to remain interesting after a couple of plays (I'm sure you realise that and never intended anything else, but I'm trying to explain the reason why I gave you the score I have).

3/5

not bad one

that was an alright game here, very easy, but it was a great time killer. i think maybe an option of having 30seconds and 60seconds would've been nice for this one too, but overall, it was cool.

...

man i could swear it was stolen but no i was wrong the name was the same but it was another game similar to a basebal game from *******
but its good and funny

Loved it :D

Great to see some good old Aussie games up here. Very fun

The scores have been looking pretty good so far. We've as good as got it won.
