Good for a few minutes
As a Brit and an avid England cricket fan it certainly felt good to clobber Warney, but after a play or two this becomes dull very fast and is a very one dimensional game.
The graphics are excellent and more than good enough for a flash of this type, and the style of the game is very good as well. A great choice of music, although for a cricket game it is pretty much the only choice, and the synching of the sounds with the hits is very well done.
Violence gets an average score as you don't get to beat the Aussies into a bloody pulp, but I guess you can't have everything (and after Englands capitulation last night I'm angrier at Fletcher than the Aussies anyway). Interactivity is good as it is an easy to pick up and play game with simple controls and an obvious objective, and there is a small amount of comedy value.
On the whole it works well for what it is, but can't be a great game with the limited amount difficulty and variation in the game. Maybe have an ability to change the time limit, and also make a few other things pop up to add to the difficulty level. Including this in a compilation of other cricket based games would also add to the longevity and replayability, but as a stand alone game it just doesn't have enough going for it to remain interesting after a couple of plays (I'm sure you realise that and never intended anything else, but I'm trying to explain the reason why I gave you the score I have).
