1)turn off the lights, make sure you are really ALONE IN THE DARK
2)turn your speaker louder to hear the sound effects more clearly
3)play this during midnight

I shot the fucking moon out like a light. The logic in this game is amazing.
So that wasn't very good, it's built up to be really scary, but really has nothing to it. I remember another flash game tried to jump scare me, but the art was too bad to do it, kinda like this one.
The pictures at the end were unsettling, but not scary, just weird, honestly I could find that online if I wanted to. The art overall was lackluster, but I loved the reference to Resident Evil, with the whole door thing.
