This was something I always wanted to do. Its not that advanced or detailed, but neither am I. Basicly I talked to this guy who new a little about the forging of metal and with my crap skills I mannaged to throw this together.

Ok: I got scared at how people commented on this in the first few miniutes, man the internet is crazy.. So here is a little breakdown of how to work it

1- press 'bellows' to ignite forge
2- use tongs to grab either material and put it on the forge flame
4- put the heated metal onto the anvil then smack it with the hammer
5- when it is shaped use the glove to place it on the rack behinde the anvil
6- do the same fo the other material

This game is quite basic, on reason I did it is because as far as ive seen its pretty origonal =)

Nice game, a bit short but it still gives the great item-creating-feeling!

Hm...

Well, this game is quite original and I have often found myself looking for something quite like it. However I feel if you really wanted to make something amazing you could easilly do so by firstly, expanding the smithing process, adding a form of "experience" so that one has to work to become a more skillful smith, and add a much much wider vareity of materials and tools. You might even add a mine or some such to buy the materials from, instead of simply having them. How would one earn the money to buy things? By selling things one has already created! There could be basic "free" materials, such as wood and impure iron which one could enhance over time, creating pure iron, and getting other ores and curing them. The possibilities are endless really. I suggest doing a bit of research on multiple aspects and forms of smithing, especially the forms used in the east, and then creating a truly spectacular game. It would indeed make history.

it'd be cool

if it was in a game where you forge your own sword out of different materials then fought with it, but overall very fun, good job.

great!

Intresting+original=5/5 10/10

nice job

good idea, the first time i've seen a game based entirely around smithing.
