A remake I made in flash of the old arcade game Arkanoid.
Arrow Keys to move, SPACEBAR - Fires Laser.
Some of the old Retro Game Fans will recognise this game, and I hope they think I made a decent job at recreating it.
It doesnt run quite as fast as the original which is a shame but blame that on teh Flash Player :P
Wondering if you can create your own levels? then YES! you can, just register at the site and create as many levels as you want.

GLITCHY -- that although its reall pretty and might look like the orioginal -- it certainly doesn't play like the orignal because no one I knew back then would have stuck quarter after quarter into that slot to play a game that glitches and freezes up every time the ball touches a brick or leaves the paddle!!!!
It is UNPLAYABLE!!!

Good job trying to stay authentic to the original. I would have liked mouse control though. The only times I have played this game is the original arcade version, which had a spinner and on an Apple IIgs which used the mouse that is closer to using a spinner than the keyboard. Not sure what version of flash you programmed this on, but with some code optomization I'm sure it could be speeded up. I can't give this more than a 7 considering it's a direct steal from another game, but was a very well done port.

I always played Arkanoid for the NES the music in this is kinda similar but the ball stuck powerup is kinda glitchy 10/10 and 5/5 pico's for how kickass and addictive this game is despite its few glitches ^^

bgm would've been nice, also a bug is that the ball gets stuck on the paddle and then falls off in the opposite direction, causing you to lose a life which i think made it pretty bad, but i guess if u fix it up a bit it'd b much better

a great relaxing game, it took a while 2 figure out each power up.
good work. one tip though, maybe some bgm?
