How to move? no stars because cant play
You're a UAC marine and have to kill the traitor!
This is the remake of the first one.
Now it's longer, harder and the rooms and the guns are better drawn.
How to move? no stars because cant play
somewhat easier but why do you think making it harder will make it better. ignore the idiots and listen to me: tone down the difficulty or replace the rifle with a machine gun.
HELL YEA!!!!!!!!!
FUKE YEA!!!! this dam game freaking owns!!!!! i love doom!
A mixed bag
Anything that has the player capping demons with reckless abandon is alright in my book. I was amused by it for one play through, but no more. A good concept, though.
Graphics: Mixing highly pixelized sprite graphics with lineart backgrounds doesn't work. The clash of styles is so evident that it distracts from the task at hand.
Sound: Was okay. Nothing masterful, but not bad either.
As for the game itself... in a future attempt, more weapons would be the first order of business. Assigning varied functionality to them would go with it. I suppose the shotgun was meant to be stronger than the pistol, but as both weapons killed every enemy that was met in a single shot, it seems moot. Having a spread would be better. Next priority would be varying up the enemies, not only in graphics, but in attack patterns. In this game, I quickly learned to show up, smoke them all as quickly as possible without worrying about anything else, and go on ahead to do so again. Allowing them to move would be a good start.
And finally... no end boss? It really felt incomplete without fighting 'the traitor' myself, though I know that, without the ability to dodge or prevent the boss's fire, such a fight would be impossible. Still, without a wrap-up fight, it felt kind of pointless. Anyway, good luck in the future. ^^
thx for your review. i agree with this graphics thing you said, but i cant do much about that. the sounds were all from counter-strike, because i can't find doom sounds anywhere. ill try to put some more weapons on the third one, but switching between then will probably be impossible. i can make moving enemies on the third too. is had no boss because it wouldn't fit the story and the traitor could be a boss because he was a normal human. you should play the second one, it is much better and harder then the first.
kkkkkkkk
Meh. It was ok. The backgrounds could do with some improvements. And the sound. And some varied gameplay.
but I guess it was ok, also. It looks like you tried to copy Toughlucks logo in the TL cursor there ;]
thx for ur review. i never heard about this Thoughlucks you said
