Updated to newer version with online chat and high scores...
Keep the ball on screen for as long as you can, moving shrinks the bat so works as a limiter. Careful nudges being the order of the day. I'm slightly worried that it might be possible to get it stuck in an infinite loop somehow with no need to move again. However since the bat and ball change velocity on every contact it won't happen easily.
I don't think I can come up with anything more retro than this

this couldn't get any better other than the bat lasting a slight bit linger bit that's just my opinon. I like this game and scored 30:07 seconds as the top score for now. i like this and will add it to my avoritesd menu so i can rate it every time i go online wich is almost everyday. and since i'm a user i have almost a power of 5.00 votes and for this game that's ood so make something else like this or another game completly please because you are good with games!!!
