Update: 5/3/06 : For those having trouble with the steroid pumped boss - You can only attack him when hes on the side catching his breath.It is a shame this flash is going to get lost in the portal because no one will give it a chance.
I have been working on this project on and off (mostly off) for the past year. It Is a classic style fighting game but with my friends/enemies. Sorry about the size i compressed it as much as possible. I wanted to put in more sound effects but didnt have the room. Not too good
As a first impression I thought this would be an awesome game, something I could play today and then want to return and play tommorow.
Then main menu looked very professional the buttons were very easy to click and it just had that style to it that made me think this would be an excellent game.
I was a little dissapointed, the controls were terrible and didn't react fast enough and alot of inconvienant things I didn't like.
For one thing I didn't like how you had to release all the other buttons to attack or even move. I'm no flash animator myself so I don't know how to fix it but I found it quite annoying and almost unbearable.
Another thing is the computer hardly attacks back and it's just too easy but takes along time to finally beat the guy. As I'm writing this review right now I left the game on and my guy is still alive. I dunno but games that are too easy and repetitive arn't very fun.
The music was good, it sorta had the 'street' feel to it that fits a fighting game very well so bravo in that area. =D
The drawings were very well done and the shading looked great adding to it's detail but the animation just wasn't at the same level.
It just didn't look realistic, when some punched their arm would become noticeably wider and when the characters were walking the legs weren't even touching the ground.
Anyway, this had all the bells and whistles but the main purpose wasn't there, it needs better gameplay. 2/5.

Yeh thanks, I am very disappointed with this game, unfortunately i spent too much time on all the attacks. I might make another one but next time im not going to focus so much on having so many attacks for each character but rather work on getting much more quality. I will keep such things as the menu and everything but it just needs so much work. This was my first attempt at a really big game but i of course failed. I have much better games in the making to come though.

I played the game to about the third opponent, then stopped. The graphics are bad, but that wasn't the only reason... The sound is practically nonexistant, and there is no violence. The controls in the instructions do not carry over in the story mode, and special attacks don't really do anything at all... It could be a great game, but right now, it's not.

This SHOULD have a WAYYYY better score than it does.........the controls might be tighter than they should be, and the graphics aren't that great, but it is overall a good game, and shouldn't EVER be forgotten from the portal.
Overall, DEFINITELY something worthy of Front Page Status....or AT LEAST Underdog. Keep it up.

Thankyou, yeh try and attack close up until he gets you down in health, then stand back and use long range attacks until he dies. (its actually a guy wearing a dress).
