Edit- This is old, very old. Dont judge my current skills by this. I did this in the first semester of my degree. I just wanted to see how it would fare.
Ok people. So here is whats up. I had a flash class in my graphic design degree last year, and we had to learn flash in 11 weeks. At week 6 we started working on our projects. it had to be an interactive flash portfolio with an intro animation. It isnt the greatest looking thing in the world. But considering I had no clue how to use flash at all before I even took the class, I think I did ok. Though looking back on how much my art skills have inproved since then...looks like crap to me...BUT I digress. And also,that website isnt up anymore. :)
Degree level?
It's odd you say your doing graphic design, I was going to say that the animation was okay but the style of it was gaudy and unprofessional. I found the interface confusing and the music was annoying also, but your main problem here is this is just not the kind of thing Newgrounds showcases.

It is nothing more than some kind of web-site. NG is here to amuse people. Make something else with your skills. You'll make it further with that something else than with this.
