Another side scrolling shooter from an open source I've seen going around. I like the minimalist graphics and difficulty settings in it, but the coding isn't really yours, so I can't give as much credit.

Hi everybody. I'm new at all this hit test, collision detection, and scrolling stuff. This is just a small arcade space shooter. Try to get a good score. There is no "high score" sheet unfortunatly, if anyone can tell me how to do that, that would be great. Enjoy if you can.
IMPORTANT!!!: use the arrows to move around, and the ctrl button to fire. Once I learn more stuff I'll make it with more levels and bonuses and stuff.
Not bad... but not great either
Very VERY simple game, gets boring very easy but really good for a first go. A lot better than anything I could do :) Try adding in some music or sounds if you make another one... you might also want to tell people that you can't just hold Ctrl to shoot... not like I tried that or anything *shify eyes* :D

I'm afraid to say all you have done is done david's tutorial / downloaded it on flashkit and then edited the spaceship, and the enemys. However- since you're new to flash I wont poke too much fun at you. To create a high score list email me and I'll show you...

reminds me of asteriods except side scrolling. not bad.
