ORTUS is my first flash animation (or any 2D animation), that I have ever done. I drew and did the backgrounds (by exploring through another program), and the file was so big that I broke it down to 3 PARTS! So please, before giving a full review, see all parts of ORTUS, to understand the story(if not you will probably be very confused).
There are a couple of things that I still can't understand well in flash (like sound ect.), since it's my first time. So I would apreciate constructive criticism, to try and get better with my mistakes.
All music in thall Ortus parts is originally by their respective(and talented) owners.
UPDATE: I have added the portal thig for people to see, and no change in voice, because part 1 does not feature voices(only 2 and 3). Hope this works!!!
Very deep
You have some hardcore artistic skills man, and not to mention you completely nailed the 'read between the lines' feeling.
This stands out from ordinary flash on so many levels, including the amazing artwork.
Not really many 'tips' I can give you but since your recommending your sequel why not take it a step further and provide a direct link?
Anyway overall this had it's own unique style that I thought was better then good. 5/5.

The begining
Ok took me a while to get thefeel for what was going on here. Then I realized it was jsut the intro. lol
The drawning stlye was nice.
I would have liked a bit more of an intro, to explain what is going on.
To get an idea waht the storyline is.
The flash looks really nice ansd the sound suit it nicly, just found myself a bit lost in the story.

Not Bad
This flash is ok. Your trying to do the whole matrix, wake up in a pod, wtf is going on here routine. Which isn't a bad thing because newgrounds needs something this diverse on it. Oh, and the dipshit who reviewed this before me , 1 part of 3 isn't, "the first half" it 's one third :}
