Video Guy: Now Showing

This was an entry for the Home Movies "Small Shorts" competition. The file's a little larger and a bit grainy since the was final version was edited in Premiere (all animated in flash, though).

The more I watch you...

The more I watch your movies, the more I start to appreciate them. That was really good, although it took me more than one watch to see that. Keep up the good work, and don't lose that style.

eh

Graphics were blurry, sound was muffled and I dont know... It could have been better... I just did not enjoy it with those problems... fix it and give it another try...

Great Stuff!

I watched this little short, and it inspired me to watch the rest of your submissions. What you really need to do is make a whole episode - a long thing. These have a sort of clerks vibe (aside from the video store aspect, i'm talking about customer relations here!) Though these are great, their potential i feel is not fully explored within their timeframe.

Also, when you get to that point, i feel you should have a co-star on it. When you start making longer cartoons, or hell, even just MORE cartoons, i think you'll find that your little video clerk can't hump the whole thing on his own.

You've got a great start for a good series - i'm adding you to my fav' list so i can keep tabs.

Oh and your sound quality rocks - good work!

Thanks for your input. We're actually working on what you just described here; it's in a classroom setting and the video guy is only one of several characters. It should be ready in a month or two. It's a longer format as well. Thanks again for you thoughful comments!

Too Grainy

It's a decent flash, but the grainy images really hurt it, it also seems like it should be a bit longer, as it seemed to end abruptly.

Adequate ...

The general quality of this piece was good, I didn't find it particularly funny but that is a matter of opinion. It should be protected at the least for others to make their opinion on your humor.
