My friend and I have been working on a little flash-comic project as a bit of a side project. Until tonight (when we got off our lazy asses) it was more a few smaller parts of one episode done separately. Well we decided to put them all together and add a little more to put on Newgrounds in the hope we could get some opinions or ideas for improvement.
So if you're interested, mayhaps you could take a quick squiz at it and share what you think.
Just a bit of background so it makes... a little sense. There are these two guys (Luke and Xav) who share an apartment. Well Xav has this friend from his high school days (TT) who needs a place to live (this is explained in detail later on). So Xav sticks his hand up without telling Luke till the last minute.
I was a little shocked when I first found out that 'Mad Max' or 'Road Warrior' as it's called in the states was originally dubbed because they (who knows who 'they' are) thought that the American audience couldn't understand the Australian accents. So for your viewing pleasure we have given subtitles. If you think you are a bright crayon in the box the go right ahead and check it out. If you're not to sure, then here is a run down of the scenes:
Scene 1 - The Hallway
Luke and Xav are walking down the hallway to their apartment. Xav took Luke out for the day while TT moved in so he couldn't really refuse when he found out (at the last minute) so this scene is really Xav trying to convince Luke it will all be fine. Well when they both get to the door they arrive to find TT being arrested for... God knows what (randomness is fun kids ^_^). Xav then slams the door and it is presumed that he spends the next few minutes trying to avoid Luke's anger ^_^
Scene 2 - Opening Theme
This is just an intro, fairly straight forward. One of our favorite things in this project (we have had many) is the name for one (we think we are original) and the cross-hair idea with the intro... A stroke of...mediocre-genies.
Scene 3 - Prepare for battle!
It is assumed that it is still the first day of TT living with the pair. TT for again, an unexplained reason does something incredibly violent with Luke's cat. Well this is TT explaining how the cat attacked him UNPREVOKED! Also how he was forced to defend himself... With a bazooka...
Scene 4 - The Explanation
Here is Luke being lied to by TT... and Xav. Xav more in an attempt at not getting TT kicked out. But this bit isn't finished yet... That is all ^_^

(it just makes for a better flash)
~Shading~
Some nice shadong on the characters would do.
Great flash, but as a series, it kinda lacks the"Cliff Hanger" aka "always leaving them want more".

~~REVIEW~~
This was notbad, it was actually really good like the characters, very good design and color to them and the animation of them was decent, you should just make it a full screen instead of a wide screen view though, and make the screensize abit larger, anyways nice job...

Make the screen larger, aswell as making the text larger as it was so tiny...

Great characters neat animation could have a few improbments tough anyways nice job keep it up...

The animation was pretty decent, and not a bad script either. I can't wait to see the finished version.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON, DANGER!
You do realize that the sound cuts out after the intro, right? If you didn't know when you released it, ok, cool - mistake.
If you did - then you really really really need to continue with the sound - it's one of the main things that made the intro so entertaining. The rest looks pretty cool, but i stopped watching halfway through figuring i'd wait for a version with sound to watch it all.
In general - good stuff. Solid plotline - runs smooth - good sound (that is, when there IS sound ;-)

You do realize giving it a 3 is pretty much raping it's success! It's ripping off it's pants and raping it up the ass!
YES! We know there isnt any sound at the end because we havnt DONE any sound after the intro.
