This is Chapter 3 out of 8 of our Hamlet movie. Here Hamlet meets his father's ghost and there's a flashback, oh boy. You might wanna check out the previous chapters first, if you haven't.

nice idea but hard to understand

Although I wholeheartedly love the idea of doing lego versions of Shakespeare, the sound quality made it rather difficult to follow the dialogue. That, however, is my only complaint. Otherwise, I loved the whole concept.

Hilarious good job lol

that was funny a little funny twist to shakespear. LOL good, but you should have it all not just one little part.

Smatisfaction responds:

Thanks. Yeah, unfortunately the video doesn't compress down to Newgrounds-accepted filesize unlees we break it into parts. You can get the rest from our site.

A Good Idea, but...

Now, being a Shakespeare buff the title made me laugh. I still think it's a good idea with a lot of potential, however a few things need to be fixed. First of all, the guy playing Hamlet kept fudging his lines, hesitating as if he forgot what he was about to say. Second, and more importantly, the camera angle is not really conducive to story telling. Put the camera on the table, closer to the action, so we can actually see things, or perhaps raise your table to the level of your tripod. Imagine if every scene in your favorite movie was shot entirely from the sixth floor balcony of a neighboring hotel, with no camera movement whatsoever; that's what watching this was like. Third, add music or sound effects to break up the monotony.

And is there any actualy music in this musical?

Smatisfaction responds:

Yep. You make all good points about the camera angle, the acting, and the monotony. These are all things we kind of thought of as we went along (this series is going on two yers old). By the time we get to chapter 8, the camera actually moves, though it's not perfect to be sure. As for Brandon fudging lines, well, yeah, we were in a bit more of a hurry than we should have been.

Music happens in chapters 2, 5, 7, and 8. Everything after 3 is on our site.

I must go and watch the others now I've seen this.

You know how much it cost me to write this review? Tree fifty! Can you believe that? I come here onto this free site and they charge me tree fifty! Mmmm-hmmmmm tree fifty! Well God dang it!

Smatisfaction responds:

Huahaha, tree-fitty indeed!
Hope you have fun with the other ones.

Pretty nice.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series.

The spin on the lines were pretty funny.

Smatisfaction responds:

We're having trouble getting the rest of the (large) files to Newgrounds right now, so unless our submissions develop higher ratings you'll have to get the rest from our site.
Not that that's a bad thing.
