Thanks for all the reviews and suggestions. FYI, this animation was originally made as a promo for a pirate based ski trip, which may account for a rather odd plot.

This is one of the first claymation shorts I've shot, not including the countless test shots trying out different ideas, angles and the like. This movie uses roughly 1,000 frames with 60% being edited in some form in photoshop. Hope you viewers enjoy it!

sweet!

god how I hated to displace the last review :) getting to the point, nicely done. I like that you made a claymation with stuff other than clay and even though there's no point (yes I know it's a promo though) it was fun to watch. And sometimes pointless things are more fun anyway. :D

Darc-Legend responds:

tru dat

arrrrrggghhhh.....

matey, me loves a good pirate film. yours made no bloody sense, but i see yar first film so we won't make you walk the plank this time....

hopefully we'll see more in the future, but a plot would'nt hurt.

It's not bad

I like it, I mean it had pretty good quality sound was kinda glitchy though, but it was a very decent film.

Darc-Legend responds:

It sounds like some people have had problems with the graphics, others with sound. Thats not good. I'm thinking that some computers can't seem to handle both in regards to this flash; it took me 5 trys to render it into a workable movie, let alone a .swf file.

wtf?

ur pretty good at claymation but wtf does a skier have to do with a giant skull thats eating people. ur a good animator but u need to come up with a plot. even if its a short thing like this.

Darc-Legend responds:

However sometimes I think plot is over rated. This short was commisioned as a promo for a pirate themed ski trip. I thought though that the animation stands well enough on its own, but my future animations will actually make more sense.

good work

your animation is really well done, esspecially for an amiture animater. keep up the goos work, im looking forward to another :)
