This isnt new, I just altered an old one a bit. Ive been doing a lot of stuff in Flash lately (university stuff, Watermanstudios .com stuff, even some corporate thing), but not my own personal animations, unfortunatelly. This was done for an very interesting young lady named Sarah (unlike most people, she sometimes carries a sword), who recentally turned 20.

Well, I was doing a bit of ego searching, and came across this. Very cute, and very sweet. It reminds me of this book that I got for my 5th birthday, that was customized with names and stuff. It was really cool. I still have that sucker. Anyway. It brought back some happy memories.

I guess the rating you've received for this dispels your statement that cute things are frowned upon... A Winter Tale should have been an indication that not everyone at Newgrounds is just looking for violence or porn. Hope Sarah liked it.
Hm, maybe youre right. Ive had some insults with previous cartoons Ive done, but only one so far here. never heard of 'A Winter tale', ill have to look it up.
The best birthday card i have seen.
Ok, i must say i would love to get something that nicely animated for my birthday, Sarah is lucky : ). Well even if this wasnt for a friend, i would have liked it. The graphics were superb, there just wasnt enough for me to give you a 10(ie it was too short). The detail in everything from the characters to, the backrounds was awesome. Wonderful style too, actually putting effort into a birthday card like this. Theres no way she could have hated it. The sound added a bit to this. perhaps it played too quietly but i liked it.
Really a job very well done. Make a full length animation with graphics like these and ill be sure to review it! 4/5
Iv ementioned this to a few other reviewers: the graphics wre actually grabbed from my other, much longer animations.

very good for a piece that short. could have been made better by been longer and more storyline but apart from that it was very good so go make another one plz.
