Its because when mario dies the Mushroom kingdom reveals against the koopas and kill bowser, this causes who really sent the bullets get nervous (sorry forgot the name of them) and dont attack the kingdom, if Mario doesnt dies, the attack it and causes it (serch those videos in you tube, the four Rise of mushroom kingom)

1-up mushroom + dead mario from bullet bills (from wart) = paradox? wth happened while mario was dead? Eric, think u can explain how wart came to power...you know? a behind the scenes look or something
pretty much worth every min of it :D!
the animation was great,the music perfectly selected perfect sprites awsome story and showing clips from the mario epic "rise of the mushroom kingdom" you sir have done it i give this a 10/10 and HIGHLY reccomend this to anyone out there on new grounds
