For a simple-looking space shooter...

a side-scrolling one, no less, perhaps the most overdone genre of game on NG... this is QUITE good. For one thing, the graphics are quite unique and work quite well, both in the intro and the game itself. Secondly, you've provided a great interface, both with the actual controls for the game and the on screen display... and finally, all the different powerups/upgrades/weapons and enemies... it's really slick and fun to delve into. I can't help seeing the first enemy ships you see as air-hockey-table paddles, though. Heh.

Fun, challenging, good graphics, good gameplay, love the way everything's been done... there's nothing better than firing lava-ish bolts at all the UFOs and watching them explode into green gas clouds. Way to go with this! Kudos to you!

good game

the bigest problem was the controls. you idnt know how the heck you did anything. there were to many buttons. its much easyer to do arrow keys and stuff.

Amazing opening

The game itself was pretty standard, other than the nice starry background there was nothing that stood out much. Where this really shines is the opening sequence. The bit where the planet blows up, that was cool. Maybe you could have a go at a movie instead of a game.

Nice and imaginative title

Cool game, not to dynamic but whats to be expected I guess. Kind of lacking in polish but lots of good work still. Overall pretty damn good, keep it up.

deserves a better name than 'space game,' and u should be able to shoot while dodging, thatd be pretty sweet. also the film at the start was pretty dodgy but not bad
