There were quite a few pages full of instructions with lots of detail on the plot and how exactly to play. The plot was quite the interesting one and there was even humour included with what FBWE stands for, haha. Lots of information was put into this and the quality was worked on quite nicely, it made the introduction a lot more welcoming to new players. The pace of the game seemed long enough to me.
First of all, like many games from around this time it needed sound effects, or music, or voices or at least something. While there were lots of instructions to read as I said, most of them were confusing or hard to pick up on. The controls were some of the worst I have ever seen, I mean: 4 and 6 instead of A and D or the arrow keys?! The instructions, although there was full-pages of it, were poorly done and very difficult to pick up on. Perhaps a tutorial or something would have been much nicer.
It's a decent game with great a big amount of effort in it, especially for someone's first flash. A lot of nice features, unfortunately overall it's mostly a failure. The controls were some of the worst I've ever seen and the instructions did a poor job on clarifying anything for the player.
This game has a good intro. Thought I was going to find a hidden gem, but no. After all the cool intro and mission screens the game starts and it goes downhill. Very unresponsive controls, and seemingly weak weapons. I shot a guy, and spent a minute trying to kill a robot and then the city exploded. Game over. The art was nice as well, it all looked pretty cool. A shame.
Some info on how to play the game would be useful! It looks promising otherwise, especially the explosion is really effectual, but the interactivity could use some boosting! Will this be finished someday? Keep it up!
Worst controls ever.
this game is almost impossible to play
the controls are difficult to say the least
the artwork is spotless
but the game play is everything
unless you are the retard who was the guy they tailored windows vista for and only buys games to ogle the graphics regardless of the game play
