It was simple but very understandable and looks like it's pretty easy to do (Despite the time consuming part of course). I'm adding this to my favories so when I get flash again I'll actually start practicing. Thanks for the tutorial!

Useful and informative tutorial
When I start making flash movies, I won't be drawing/colouring on the flashes, but I know this tutorial will be useful for people that want to use colouring/shading nicely, then this tutorial would give them a lot of help and hopefully not use the MSPaint-ish colours as well. Too bad this flash can't easily be seen on Newgrounds forever. It would be nice to let those new flash animators know to use colours more better than using the MSPain-ish colours. Nice work.

is a good tutorial well laid out with good ideas, just i wouldn't use any of your ideas, why were you duplicating the image? i use this method of shading all you have to do is draw ur outline of were you want the shading and then select the original colour and darken in in the colour mixer done in a couple of seconds
anyway 5/5 as was well done

Reason for mentionin duplicating was cause of my shading Tutorial, a technique I do use. I places the duplicate over the original, allowing you to use tranparent colours dead overtop the original. I been using this way to get colours I wanted when I didn't want or need to use the duplicate method. Thanks for the review and score.
