Solar Wars - A Tribute...

This was a final Flash animation project I did. I wanted to do a tribute to Wing Commander. Those of you who've played the first game can immediately recognize the references and animation references from the first game. I hope you will enjoy this tribute be it a Wing Commander or non-WC fan.

You know, it could have worked better without the need for an intro!!!

It got potential. Though the intro was a bit overly long

Decent

hey man, my hat goes off to u for tryin to animate a space-battle flash. ive tried it and i kno how hard it is to get those ships too look like they're actually turning and manuvering and stuff. ur drawings were pretty good but the explosions could've used some work. the sound fx were a real letdown. it sounded like it was over the radio with some extreme interference. also, the beginning was FAR too long! i was very tempted to just shut it down and give a 1 or 0, which im sure explains the low 2/5 score. if u didnt have that painfully long intro, this thing would probably be in the 3 range. just a thought. anyway this was a pretty good flash and it is underrated. nice job though

A bit slow...

Yeah, like msot people said, it could be good, but the battle animations and scenes are rather slow. And it makes the whole movie looking long and eh..well a bit boring. And I know the voice are supposed to be heard from some mic/communicators, but maybe you could make them of a better quality.

Pretty boring, there's nothing going on.

I guess you had a good idea, but either you made it too long, or you should have had more to the plot, or more amazing animation, or something. It doesn't have anything to it that's interesting.
