i've heard of venus fly traps... but venus dog traps?? that was a good and original idea.

First Flash, or first submission?

That was a good little cartoon, and clearly a decent amount of time was spent on a fairly basic concept idea, which is a change. The reason such a simple plot worked was because the supporting animation was good, ran smoothly and looked nice as well. Simplicity is great if enough care is taken over it.
It was also a relief not to have to see the dog get viciously butchered by the plant, as one would normally expect from a newgrounds submission. Because of this your cartoon maintains a certain level of dignity and good taste.
My criticism would have to be with the repetitive sound effects. They did not ruin the experience, but that is an area which could have been worked on.
All in all I like your style, Mr Douville, and I hope to see more of it in the future.

Setup time was a little long. Could use a preloader, other users may not like that, but I got broadband so I didn't mind. Looking forward to seeing more movies, good stuff.
