CONTROLS: Z for action and I for inventory.
You MUST level up to defeat the main villain. There are two ways to completely regain HP and MP to help in this matter. Magic attacks will evolve at some point and be stronger as well. There is a secret side quest. Talking to people might give you hints... particularily hyrulian people.
Did this with a team for a class project in a month. It's lame, but good for a month considering there are four levels, a battle system, people to talk to, etc.. Runs SLOW on crappy computers though.

Yay this is the first time I've seen an old style rpg created on Newgrounds (Frank's Adventure had no real fighting in). I am pleased that you created this and hope to see more. The game in itself was masterfully created and the coding was well done... no glitches or anything. The one moan I have is the graphics but as you said, you weren't aiming for perfect graphics and that this is just a teaser. Oh yeah I was gonna ask aswell... If you need someone to do any graphics then contact me as I have some good drawing skills (or so my friends say) as I want to see more of this kind of thing on Newgrounds. Keep up the good work! I gave you a 5!

Yes, as explained in the game description, it will run slow on crappy computers. Also, we will not be expanding this game at all, but will be designing an entirely new game that will be 100x better. It will go in episodes if we have good reviews for the first one.

Well, I haven't played the whole game but I must say it looks pretty nice. I think you can get far with this game, all you need to do is develop it a bit more. Make some better sprites, add some more sounds, during fight etc. But this is a good one. Inventory works etc. So keep this up!
