Episode four in an 8 episode series. Each of which are told in a two-minute episodic fashion.
Dexter and Xylus are two kids exploring space in the not-so distant future. In this episode - Our heroes search a castle to see if it's empty. But an alien who lives there decides instead of greeting them will have some fun with them instead.

It seems like the series is in fact getting better. I admit that they're still too short. I just really like the way this villain is designed. The voice fits perfectly too. You get a lot more of a story here. I think there is more characterization.

I don't see why they're labeled as being in space. They were always in space! Maybe I just don't know how that works. I like the name Xylus. Dexter is too generic.

A clean, family series on Newgrounds? You could of fooled me... And one that is entertaining, funny, and has good animation? Well, you definately pulled it off... In this episode, the kids search around the strange castle for answers about the planet, but unbeknownest to them, a mysterious little creature follows them - what will happen in the next episode? Will the duo be able to solve the case? Each episode gets better and keeps me more entertained and jazzed for the next glimpse at the reasoning for the strange happenings on the unchartered red planet.
