Old but gold, this one is one of my all time favorites. The animation is still excellent 12 years after it's initial upload, though some may disagree. I like the art style, it's simple and combined with the also simplistic tunes, gives an informal atmosphere; This thing doesn't take it self too serious, so screw you if you get offended-kind of ambience. TmsT, you should do a remake of this or make a sequel. I would name my first born son after you if you do. But hurry, my son is due in 1 month, so... get to it! Such a shame I can only award this gem 5 stars. Such a shame.
*looks at calendar* Congratulations, new parent! Seems I didn't redo this in time. (If I ever did though, it would be 3D animation, just because that's how animation remakes work amirite.)
You might like to know that when this animation first came out and was "big", I got excited and hastily planned a sequel in which various deities (based on mythologies such as Greek, Aztec, Norse, and Lovecraftian) tried to work together to make God's second attempt at Earth be a success, not realising that God Himself was down on the planet undercover at the time. I had other things to do, though, so it didn't progress past a draft or two.
This is an awesome little animation. It's near-perfect. I can't think of a single thing plot-wise off the top of my head that could possibly make it better. Of course the animations aren't top-notch, but this was from 2004, so I'm cutting it some slack.
Actually, though, I ended up really enjoying this animation style. The whole thing is just magnificent.
I shake my head at the quality of the animation, but like you said, it was a while ago - in fact 2 months before I started going to animation school! :D I think the general idea still holds up nicely though, too. Glad you liked it!
that was great lol the life and times of planet Earth lol :)

And that's why i don't trust god kids
